The Persian language, also called Farsi, is spoken and officially used in Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan. But did you know that there are around 110 million Persian speakers worldwide? It’s actually one of the top 20 most spoken first languages in the world.

What’s even more remarkable is that Persian is one of the 10 oldest languages still spoken today, dating back to the 6th Century B.C. This ancient language has a rich history and is the language of many famous poems, stories, and writings by iconic figures like Rumi, Hafez, Sa’di, and Ferdowsi.
